I've tried Hugo to setup a new website: https://modelrailroadsph.balcos.net . I prefer to install this via Homebrew. To do this, I install Homebrew first and issue a "brew install hugo" command in the terminal. Comparing it to Pelican, I find it to be a feature rich "with all the bells and whistles" kind of solution. Personally, I will prefer a more minimalistic one. Nevertheless, I find Hugo pleasant to use in autogenerating websites. A wide variety of Hugo themes also helps.
